Former Juventus president, Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has said that the move to sign Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo was an expensive mistake the team.
His assertion comes on the back of a heartbreaking exit of Ronaldo’s side, Juventus from the Champion’s League which saw Ronaldo watch on as FC Porto thrashed team.
According to a report Goal.com, Gionvann Gigli admitted that Ronaldo is a great champion but he is too expensive as he reveals Juventus gets 1 million Euros for every goal scored.
He advised the management of the Italian champions to let go the former Real Madrid midfielder at the end of the season.
