Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang congratulates Shatta Wale and the Ghanaian dancers on the ‘Black Is King’ album

The running-mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, has extended a pound of a congratulatory message to Shatta Wale and the other Ghanaians who were featured on Beyoncé’s ‘Black Is King’ album.

Her token of appreciation comes after the flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama, also congratulated Shatta Wale and the DWP dancers for doing Ghana the honours.

In a tweet, Professor Opoku Agyemang said they have raised high the flag of Ghana and they should not rest on their oars but aspire for higher heights.

Her tweet read: “Congratulations @shattawalegh, @dwpacademyworld & all those involved in the great collabo with @Beyonce. Congratulations also to @blitzambassador who was a director for the film. You have all raised high the flag of Ghana. Keep up the good work & you will go higher. God Bless!”

She did not only acknowledged Shatta Wale and the Dancegod Lloyd’s DWP dancers but was also grateful for the work done one of the directors who is a Ghanaian, Blitz The Ambassador.

After the release of the Already music video on Thursday, 31st July 2020, social media has been inundated with praise and genuine expression of love for all the Ghanaians who played various roles on the success of the project with Shatta Wale taking the lion share.

On the political side of things, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah has also expressed profound gratitude for the work done Shatta Wale working with a no less global musician as Beyoncé.
