Hip-hop rapper AKA is back into the spotlight thanks to the prayers of friends like Prince Kaybee. Many have commended the DJ for sticking on his friend’s side through arguably the difficult moment in his life.
After the passing of his fiancée Anele ‘Nellie’ Tembe, AKA asked to take some time off and recuperate whilst his team handles his social media affairs.
“As we undergo this painful journey, I have entrusted my team to handle all my affairs in the public domain. Including all my social media platforms. Please respect our privacy as we go through our grieving process, and please continue to keep our families in your prayers,” he wrote.
But at the moment, the rapper is back on his feet and is ready to do what he knows how to do best.
His first appearance was announced Anele Mdoda and it will be at the annual 947 Huawei Joburg Day on the 28th of May.
His second one was announced an excited Prince Kaybee who proudly stated that his ‘maat’, will also perform at the Nedbank Cup finals, alongside he and Kamo Mphela. “The Boy is opening the Nedbank cup Final alongside Kamo and My Maat”
Prince later shared a video where he was seen kicking a ball around with his buddy AKA which according to him was taken last week.
He is such a friend! Mzansi can’t thank him enough for helping AKA get through what many people will struggle to come out of unscattered.
