I will rather trust a leader who didn’t have to wait for a pandemic to invest in hospitals. – Ablakwa ‘mocks’ Nana Addo

President Nana Addo in his 8th National address on Coronavirus revealed that they’ve thought it wise to improve the health sector.

Nana Addo noted that more hospitals shall be built, old ones renovated, and laboratories would be filled up with advanced tools.

He said: “There are eighty-eight (88) districts in our country without district hospitals; we have six (6) new regions without regional hospitals; we do not have infectious disease control centres dotted across the country; and we do not have enough testing and isolation centres for diseases like COVD-19. We must do something urgently about this. That is why Government has decided to undertake a major investment in our healthcare infrastructure, the largest in our history.”

Well, MP for North Tongu constituency Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has come out to ‘tease’ Nana Addo in his decision.

The lawmaker has said that he’ll rather trust a leader who didn’t wait for a pandemic to arise before investing in hospitals.

Attached to his words are some pictures of some hospitals that John Mahama built during his tenure of office.

What Ablakwa is simply implying is that Mahama invested heavily in developing the health sector whiles Nana Addo during his tenure hasn’t thought of building any hospital until Coronavirus came hitting on us violently.

This is a clear jab at Nana Addo.
